Burns look-a-like Donald Kay was joined by a pair of witches to promote a firewalk at Burns Cottage in Alloway in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
Macmillan is hosting the event on Sunday, with people sponsored to walk five metres over red hot coals.
Hard work and hot feet will be rewarded with a reading of Tam O’Shanter in the cottage and other ghostly tales, performed by the Queen Margaret’s School Theatre Group, at Alloway’s Auld Kirk
